Possibly the first Fairy type I ever came up with; designed to be ugly-cute, pathetic and early game.
Wartbelly are shy, portly pokemon that live in loose-knit groups. Alhough cautious around humans they often live in woods nearby human settlements and can get aggressive if a large enough group of them forms, usually headed by an adult Hogback.
Hogback are more confident than their young counterparts but are still viewed as being quite weak, something they don’t take too well. The hairs on their backs and arms have formed hardened quills and their portly frames mean they can be quite durable, if not as terrifying as they’d like.
Bonus shiny Hogback, trying to get out of trouble it shouldn’t have started. I imagine Wartbellies would run more like gibbons.

Absorbaa, the wet wool pokemon
Absorbaa and its line have already appeared on here but the other two are making their first appearance. There hasn’t been a guiding theme for the most part for the region, but it’s there’s been a few South American inspired pokemon.
Here is an annoyed carnotaurus with a fresh victim in her mouth. I found this pic while I was cleaning out some folders and I don’t think I ever posted it.
